The launch
A new home for LABEL TO LABEL
Our new website is live. Developed around LABEL TO LABEL, it reflects a simple principle: start with the work, then shape the technology around it. We developed the website and our own editorial system together, connecting how we present our business with how we manage and publish its content. The result is a new space to discover LABEL TO LABEL, explore our work and begin a conversation.
Our approach
The freedom to build
Developing our own website gives us control over its design, functionality and publishing tools. We can make decisions around what our content needs and how we want people to experience it. The system runs on established cloud infrastructure. Its modular architecture allows shared components to support different pages and formats, giving us a consistent foundation that we can extend as our requirements evolve. That flexibility matters beyond appearance. It also shapes the tools used to prepare and manage content. The public experience and the work behind it can develop together, without being tied to a website builder’s structure or predefined workflows.
THE WEBSITE
A new expression of our work
Our new website brings our work, ideas and capabilities into a shared visual language. Its structure connects our Japan market activities, digital systems and journal, giving each subject room to take its own form.
THE EDITOR
Publishing from within
Behind the website is our own publishing environment, developed alongside the pages it creates. We can work with English and Japanese content, arrange text and media, and review compositions with the page in view. Developing the editor ourselves also means we can extend its tools as our needs change, shaping both the public experience and the work behind it.
Applications and intelligence
Beyond the website
The same thinking applies to a private business tool, a native application or an environment that brings relevant information together for a particular task. Each begins with practical questions. Who will use it? What do they need to accomplish? The answers guide the technology. A web application can provide access through a browser. Native iOS and macOS applications can offer deeper integration with device features and platform capabilities. The right environment depends on the work it needs to support. LILA extends this approach to intelligence. By combining AI capabilities with relevant knowledge, defined tasks and appropriate access, we can develop experiences around a specific business context. Their value comes from how well they support the people using them.
Your project
What would you build around your business?
Our website is a working example of this approach. Further areas are already prepared and will be introduced as the website develops. We bring the same thinking to commissioned projects. We begin with your business, its priorities and the people involved, then develop a system around those requirements. A clearer public presence, a tool for a particular workflow or intelligence with a defined role in everyday work. What would make a difference to your business?
